Privacy policy

We only collect what we need to deliver and collect your tubs, and we never sell your details.

1. Who we are

Tubs NI is run by Davidson Management, Northern Ireland. We're responsible for your personal information. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@tubsni.com.

2. What we collect

When you book, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your delivery and collection addresses and postcodes
• Your booking details: package, number of tubs, dates and price
• Any notes you add, such as where to leave the tubs
• Whether you've paid, and a payment reference from Stripe

If you message us on WhatsApp or email, we'll also have that conversation.

We never see or store your card details. You pay on Stripe's secure page, and Stripe handles them.

3. Why we use it

• To carry out your booking: taking payment, delivering and collecting your tubs, and contacting you about it. We need your details to provide the service you've asked for.
• To keep business and tax records, which the law requires us to do.
• To deal with problems, such as refunds, lost or damaged tubs, or complaints.

We won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to, and you can stop it at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We use a few trusted services to run the business. They only use your details to provide their service to us:

• Stripe takes your payment and sends your receipt. Stripe gets your email address and the booking amount, plus the card details you enter on its page. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare hosts our website and stores booking records securely.
• postcodes.io is a free service that checks your postcode is real while you fill in the booking form. Only the postcode is sent, never your name or address.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on our website. Your browser downloads it from Google, which can see your IP address.

We'll only share your details with anyone else if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

• Completed bookings: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
• Bookings where payment was never finished: deleted automatically after 12 months.
• WhatsApp and email messages: deleted when they're no longer needed, and within 2 years.

6. Cookies

Our website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe's payment page uses its own cookies to keep payments safe and stop fraud.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them (unless we have to keep them for legal reasons). Email hello@tubsni.com and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
